The Okuma Distance Surf is a large-capacity fixed-spool reel specially designed for long-distance surf fishing. Its many features include a cold-forged aluminium spool with a capacity of 310 metres of 0.35mm mono, and it comes with a spare graphite spool. It also has a bail-lock function, six stainless-steel ball bearings plus one anti-reverse bearing and an oscillating worm shaft for perfect line lay. There are two other models in the range: the Distance Surf Pro 60 FD 9+1bb
and the Distance Surf 80 FD 6+1bb.
