Tight Lines this Week... - 02/03/2010
Friday 5th March 7pm Sky Sports 3
Repeated: 12am Sky Sports 4
Sat. 4am Sky Sports 4
8am Sky Sports 3
This week the focus is on sea fishing and Keith’s guest will be Dave Lewis. As a journalist, consultant and vastly experienced angler both home and abroad, he’s well placed to give his insight into the sport you can find around our own shoreline, as well as in more exotic locations.
If there’s anything you want to ask Dave or Keith, please send your question in as soon as possible via an e-mail to tightlines@skysports.com
You can see Dave Lewis in action aboard the White Waters charter boat with Andrew Alsop, one of the most highly regarded skippers in the UK. They take a trip into the Bristol Channel to demonstrate uptiding techniques for a variety of seasonal species.
There’s the chance to see Keith and Nigel Botherway fishing together in a predator match at Bury Hill Fisheries in Surrey, held last weekend in aid of the Haiti Earthquake appeal. With such a good cause at stake they leapt at the chance to lend their support, and to try and catch a pike or two.
And as well as announcing the winners of February’s Young Angler of the Month photo competition, Keith will also be taking his weekly look at the sport currently available for all anglers in Fishery Focus. There’ll be details on conditions and the best baits and tactics to use at some typical UK venues.
On Tight Lines next week Keith will be joined by Andy Little, technical director at Fox International and a well respected specialist angler. With the worst of the extreme winter now hopefully behind us, they’ll have plenty of tips to help you catch a springtime specimen.
Please keep the questions, and your photos for the 'Young Angler of the Month' competition, coming in via e-mail to tightlines@skysports.com
If you miss the show on Friday and want another chance to see Tight Lines in it’s entirety, you can do so from Monday’s on either Sky Anytime or as a podcast which you can download from our website - www.skysports.com/tightlines
