This week Keith will be joined by Paul Knight, Chief Executive of the Salmon and Trout Association. As well as discussing the sport available to all game anglers in the UK, they’ll be looking at the work carried out by the S&TA in relation to the management and conservation of fish stocks, as well as their habitat.

If you’ve got a question for Paul or Keith, please send it in as soon as possible via an e-mail to tightlines@skysports.com and they’ll try and deal with it on the show.

Catching wild salmon is a notoriously tough, as well as expensive, proposition for most fly anglers - but there is an alternative. We get out on the bank of the Palm Springs Fishery in Rutland where World Champion Iain Barr proves just how much fun you can have in a more controlled environment.

There’s also the chance to see Keith in river fishing action on the Kentish Stour at Chilham Mill. With the freezing temperatures putting paid to his original still water plan, he went to the Mid Kent Fisheries venue armed with bait and tackle to demonstrate his roving tactics for catching chub.

And in Fishery Focus Keith will be taking his weekly look at the prospects in store for anglers of all disciplines. He’ll have information on some typical venues up and down the country, the most effective methods and baits to use on those waters, and the conditions you’re likely to face.

On Tight Lines next week the focus is on sea fishing and Keith’s guest will be Dave Lewis. As a journalist, consultant and experienced overseas angler he’s well placed to give his insight into the sport you can find around our shoreline, as well as in more exotic locations.

Please keep the questions, and your photos for the 'Young Angler of the Month' competition, coming in via e-mail to tightlines@skysports.com
